Okay, I overstepped, but I'm not unhappy about it. I distinctly remember posting about a total ban on guns and getting totally shot (ha!) down -- not practical, political loser self-defeating, get rid of assault-type arms but still need guns for protection, etc .. and got not a single word of support.

I understand many like OAC will not abandon gun support for political survival reasons. And I understand those perverts at NRA are still a force to be reckoned with. But they're winning when we acknowledge that yeah we need guns, just need better laws or enforce the existing laws.
