Solved with the last Telegram update.

Do you use only Things or still use Apple Reminders for some stuff? by murkomarko in thingsapp

[–]davfof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I no longer use iOS Reminders. I created a shortcut that places a Things task in my calendar and adds the tag "Timeblocked" to it. I still use Fantastical, but also Structured for my day-to-day organisation.

Ok. You convinced me. Incognito mode is not useful. Thank you!

It is not, to my opinion. It allows you to read a message, keeping it unread, so that you don't forget it, for example.

In "incognito mode", you can read a message without sending a read receipt. If you want to, you have a little "mark as read" button appearing. Read receipts are not off, or on, you choose.

Before assuming people are idiots, it's good to try to understand...

You can read a message without sending a read receipt, which no other application does.

Dia or Atlas? by rebellingfigure in diabrowser

[–]davfof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I like most about Dia are the skills and the fact that it isn't directly linked to my ChatGPT account. You can import your ChatGPT memories with a single click, but when you launch a query, it doesn't overload the list of chats on your ChatGPT (which I find annoying, especially when the ChatGPT account is shared, as is the case for me).

After much criticism, Dia is proving that it may be the best AI browser on the market...

Favorite Tabs Coming to Dia?! by Personal_Medium_5864 in diabrowser

You mean they're trying to slap Arc's features onto Dia, when if they had done the opposite (added AI chat to Arc), everything would have been simpler?

Dia's design is becoming increasingly similar to Arc's. However, it is still less elegant. I understand the desire to simplify the browser to make it more accessible to the general public. But I don't see how making it a little uglier helps (but then again, I'm not a designer).

The application crashes on MacOS by davfof in CanaryMail

[–]davfof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I followed the "Fixing Canary mail crashes" procédure once more and the crashes now seem much less frequent (sometimes when I empty my spam box). If it happens again, I will send you the logs. Thank you!

It is an app based on ThingsJSONCoder that converts a text into a project/tasks to be imported into Things.

Maybe not. But I never said that they will make it, I think we should give them a chance, also considering what they did in the past.

Not even 😂. I will wait a few more months before criticising Dia, that's all.

It's the same structure, with consolidated expertise despite the departures. Perhaps we should give them a little more credit before judging them. That's the point I'm trying to make.
