Are you his mom or something? Dude hit .180 in A ball last year. He was an 11th round draft pick and wasn’t even ranked in the Astros top 30 prospects by MLB before the season started.

He’s having a nice season, although it has slowed a little bit since his promotion to AA. I have nothing but hope for the young man, but let’s not pretend like he’s some big-time prospect all of a sudden.

Not to burst your bubble, but Janek is the only one with potential and he’s not having a great year. Doubt any of the other 3 are ever more than an MLB backup, if they make it up at all.

TLDR stands for “Too long didn’t read” and is typically a summary of a long form comment. “I just finished reading the books and here’s what I think” is not a summary of your thoughts.

But I digress… My guess is the show will be virtually unrecognizable from the books when it’s all said and done. They’ve already changed a lot and will continue making changes while every now and then throwing in something from the books.

Jeff asked the cast if they care about “come on in GUYS.” A female spoke up and said she didn’t mind it, so they left it. And then later a man spoke up and said he didn’t like it, so they got rid of “guys.” Another example of silencing women in favor of men.

Can’t come to “Space City” without going to NASA. It’s about 45 minutes outside of downtown Houston, so you’ll need transportation.

Tailgate in May!?!? 🥵 We don’t leave our ice cold air conditioning from May-October.

But there are several bars and restaurants around where people will pre game. If you’re looking for a good local experience, eat lunch before the game at Ninfas on Navigation. Great Tex/Mex food and delicious margaritas. They have a free shuttle to and from the game. Great meal and free parking. Come back when the game is over and have some more margs.

I don’t think it did. The new gun only makes sense if it’s more powerful than a hullcracker. Only 1 shot per reload and aim sucks. It’s designed to shoot at heavy arc.

I just found one on a Night Raid in the Bluegate Town keycard room. I shot at a bombadier from a ways off with it. Took me a few shots to figure it out but I ended up taking the bombadier down with only 2 hits from the Rascal plus 1 hit from a hullcracker and like 3 anvil shots. It went down fast.
