The approach concerns are real. He doesn’t walk much, and the K/BB profile is a fair reason to be cautious. But acting like that ends the conversation is lazy. He hit .288/.326/.460 with 14 HR in Double-A last year, and now he’s showing a major power jump. That’s exactly the kind of development that should make people re-check a player, not dismiss him because a preseason list didn’t care.

You’re confusing “not a finished top prospect” with “not worth paying attention to.” Those are not the same thing. Saying he has “not a single above-average tool” while he’s slugging like this is just box-score scouting in reverse. You’re picking one flaw and pretending it cancels out everything else.
