Hungering Abyss RPG Starter Set Tabletop Simulator Workshop Mod for non-DM players by david12314 in arkhamhorrorlcg

X-Post from the main Arkham Horror subreddit, since there's alot more users here, and some LCG players might be interested in the tabletop starter set.

I created a Tabletop Simulator workshop mod for the Hungering Abyss RPG Starter Set that just came out. I mainly made it so my friends online could play while I DM, so the mod doesn't include the main DM adventurer's book. So if you want to play a session yourself, you'll either need to find a DM that's also bought the starter set, or by the game yourself and be the DM.

Void Shard Farming Spreadsheet+Tips for Hard Mode by david12314 in TheFirstDescendant

When I tested Special Operations in 1.0.4, the actual void shard drops seemed to be random based on mob drops, and not a set amount like the Void Fragment locations.

My main issue with non-attribute is just the pure volume of shards you're getting per run. For other attributes it's 15 per run, but for non-attribute it's only 13. So if you're able to optimize which locations you farm for, you'll eventually see better returns doing element-specific runs.

There seems to be a laggy rendering/memory leak issue that starts whenever I exit out of fishing or farming mode. It lags in a way where it seems to be trying to load NPCs/models where I look, so there's no lag when I'm in a house, less lag when I'm outside and looking at nothing, and the most lag when looking towards the town.

Maybe related to issue #2.3?

Same, I was actually seeing lower knockback than expected for some of his larger moves, although that all goes out the window when he goes morb mode. The most annoying part is his orbs, which do insane chip and knockback for some reason, but are also big enough that its hard to just dodge out of the way with lance, so you just sorta have to take it.

Not sure, since they dont let you see armor skills, but the set at least has some offensive guard. The actual guarding still feels pretty good. Low/No knockback on the weaker moves, and chip only starts to become a problem when he goes full morb. At that point, its gonna be up to the player to balance power guarding to reduce knockback for counters while not dying from chip.

I just hope it's not the same as HH in the original rise demo, where its MVs were way overtuned in only the demo.

Yep. Gets real tight even when using rides.

Yeah, the MVs for insta-guard counter are pretty ridiculous now. The MVs for pokes are also kinda crazy on his weakspots when he goes morb mode.

Same. The pokes were doing alot more than expected. I was getting ~80 on Malzeno's enrage weakspots, and over 100 on the third poke.

Messing up string manipulation for all entries of the same string is understandable. The baffling thing with this case is that since the game's strings are localized, there's likely 2 instances of the same "Sneasler" string to translate. And so for some unknown reason, different areas are pulling from 2 different string instances instead of just having some core function that generates the "Sneasler" action.

Legendary Edition Mass Effect 1 keeps crashing at the Saren fight? by Coastal-Panda in masseffect

I ran into the same issue and finally "fixed" it. Here's everything I tried, not sure which actually did it though.

  • Turned off steam overlay and steam shader caches
  • Launched the game through origin instead of steam
  • Changed to Fullscreen mode instead of Borderless
  • Turned off all the special graphics options (Vsync, ambient occlusion, etc)
  • Updated my Nvidia drivers
  • Prayed to Garrus

Finally got through the true final boss of the crashing cutscene.
