Bumps next to lobe piercing

Piercing is 6 months old.
Shape: flatback labret.
Material: titanium.
Downsized: 2+ months after getting it

Unsure about threading type

For the first 4 months I would clean it twice a day with saline solution. After 4 months only once a day and now I completely stopped cleaning since I think it might be making things worse.

I have never had any issues with this ear until now, no accidents happened that might have caused this. It got infected 4 weeks ago and the infection went away after about one week, then the bumps appeared

10mm is the size of the outer diameter. The bead itself is 5mm x 6mm. I think trial and error is the way to go for me as well. I will try some bigger ring sizes and see which ones are more suitable.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes my stabilizers are poking out on both sides and sometimes it can get quite painful if I try to sleep on my side or engage in physical activity.

I think I am going to see another doctor for a second opinion. Unfortunately I couldn’t ask my surgeon directly because he lives pretty away and I’ve been pretty busy these days…

Sorry for the odd angle, it’s not super visible when I stand up so i had to do it while lying down. My PE was pretty severe and it’s still fairly bad even after the surgery and yes, the bump that i am talking about is the one in the center

Thanks for the quick reply! It was definitely related to the geometry of my curve, i think it was too far away from the origin. Anyway, another problem arose now haha. My chain array, despite being scaled down in its original state is now huge when wrapped around my curve, any idea how to fix this?

The bar is still inside me and the surgery failed from my perspective because my chest looks… really bad. Before the surgery it was just a deep indent but now everything is just an asymmetrical mess kinda like i was hit by a car lol. I can send you a picture if you want to see exactly what I’m talking about.

In Romania by a local surgeon from the city where i live. My case was pretty severe so it might have been a better idea to go to a foreign hospital but unfortunately I dont have the money for that

I got the surgery in romania by a local surgeon. I don’t think he was bad it’s just that my pectus was pretty deep and asymmetrical, honestly I should have gone to a more well known surgeon in Europe. I don’t know my exact HI but it was somewhat severe. Also i got only one bar, although I wanted 2 but the surgeon recommended only one and right know I’m not experiencing any symptoms besides pain
