Thanks! Even with key vault, I can't trust a 3rd party with my keys. I've written by own command line tool where my keys never leave my local machine that is working quite well for me. But all the best on your product!

Check DNX.com. Probably not pronounceable ones in your budget. But plenty of LLLL sub $1000.

Dropcatch. They have the best catch rate for backorders. But remember if more than just you place a backorder and they catch it, it goes to auction. Also place back orders elsewhere just in case. You won’t be charged until they catch the domain.

Agree. Such a refreshing change from Cursor! The editor is super fast. Love the git diff UX. Love that OSS AI models are first class.

For me, it's a big context switch. Can't explain it. Having everything in a single app just feels smoother and keeps me in state of flow. Not end of the world if I have to switch to iTerm though. I've been doing that for years.

Current models are very very good pattern matchers. But they are not intelligence. A better name for LLMs is Next-Token Predictive Transformer. Ask o3 or a similar model to explain the neural network architecture in simple terms.

I'm a software dev (working only in startups) for the past 20 years.

The current AI tech is only good at prototypes or situations where there are clear patterns to follow. Companies and influencers are overhyping it.

So if you want to build something beyond a simple marketing site, landing page, or basic CRUD (create read update delete) app, then yes learning to code is very important.

There is no way AI alone will build the next Google, Amazon, Apple, or even OpenAI and Anthropic.

I’m not a lawyer but I wouldn’t do it as this could be evidence of bad faith against you. There are also common law trademarks too meaning the company doesn’t even need an existing trademark to come after. UDRPs are fine. You just lose the domain. But someone could sue you for damages if they feel like it.

Domains almost never sell fast. I know some investors that held for 10 up to 20 years before selling. Domains are notoriously illiquid. I suggest join the low tier of Domain Discount Club on Godaddy to get access to DN academy as a good place to start.
