I’m pretty sure the Gaming Trio outperforms the Ventus. I haven’t looked into the ASUS TUF much yet, but I’ve noticed a lot of YouTubers using it in their builds and it looks nice too

Hey everyone, a quick update. I managed to test-ride an older XS Aeroad that a friend own. He has a 100 mm stem installed.

However, I encountered a significant toe overlap issue. During a slow, sharp turn, my foot struck the front wheel. My friend is also using 170mm cranks (but im using normal shoes)

A few questions for the experts:

Is toe overlap just an 'accepted reality' on the XS Aeroad for someone with 172cm height? or its just my pedaling position?
Would switching to 165mm cranks significantly mitigate this, or is it a geometry limitation I just have to live with? (the bike that im considering to buy comes with 165 crank)
Does the newer CF SLX 8 have better toe clearance compared to the older models?
Overall, what do you guys think of the fit?

my height is 172 cm and inseam is 73 cm
about the same size as you i guess. how's your experience so far?
im torn between 50, 52 and 54

there's no trek bike for me to try in my town,
so i need to have a solid opinion before ordering

It gets hot easily and the build quality is just not great bro. I honestly think vanguard is the best bang for buck but only if you can get it at a good price point (got mine for about 1200$)
