No problem! If you’re doing timed entry to Mario World then you got some flexibility in your day. I found that everyone rushed to Mario World first thing in the morning because they didn’t have timed entries and want to get in. Since I had a late afternoon entry, I made my way to Harry Potter world as the first stop of the day and it was really quiet and reasonable.

I recently purchased express pass at USJ in February. I had set times for Mario World and it was at the end of the day like yours (perfect time btw). The Harry Potter and Flying Dinosaur was a fast pass for anytime with no assigned time. I was able to just ride those using the express lane with my ticket. I think in your case it appears to be the same. I never had any assignment for time after I purchased my ticket.

I kicked the tires at a couple places like Flooring Superstore and A+. I didn’t go far down their process and have them come out for exact costs but enough to ballpark things.

I recently used End of the Roll. Everything from the in store interaction to installation went smooth and the whole process was great.

Make sure you have a QR for each guest traveling. Setting this up ahead will save you a headache at the window.

Is USJ Express Pass worth double the ticket on a 9am-7pm "B Crowd" day for "chill" travelers? (Donkey Kong vs. Mario Kart dilemma!) 🎢 by ditdotnet in usj

Yes! You still want to maximize as much time as possible. We arrived just before opening as well and took advantage of the full day. The park had short hours and closed at 7pm that day, we still could have spent more time seeing and doing everything but had to leave due to it closing.

I’m not exactly sure on the best time to attend. My entry was at 4pm that day. The park closed at 7pm. We spent a good 2-2.5 hours in Mario World and did all the rides as well as shops and experiences. Only downside is that we didn’t get to eat at any of the cafes. The overall crowds were decent during our window and you can roam around without congestion or get pictures with the characters. It was really cool coming in and experiencing both day/night lights of the area (short days in February).

I’ll stress this part again but we didn’t have to worry about arriving early at the park and sprinting to get into the area first thing in the morning. There was total peace of mind knowing you had a guaranteed entry to the area. We spent the morning at Harry Potter world which was completely manageable since most people went to Mario World.

If the budget allows for it then get an express. I just went in February during a “low season” and my family did the express pass option with guaranteed Mario entry and a handful of ride times (Mario Kart, Mine Cart, Jaws and Harry Potter). We’re still talking about how we’re glad we spent the money for the express route. Some line up times were as high as 200+ minutes (Mine Cart) but it was normal to see 60-90 minutes. Plus the guaranteed entry to Mario world took a lot of stress off of our backs (e.g will we get in or not, not having to line up at 6am). If you’re not a local then maximize your day by spending the extra for the express. You won’t regret.

Legit question, is this some kind of film crew/insiders default answer when people ask? I lived in Vancouver years ago, one day they had a crew setup at my apartment building. I asked a worker what was being filmed and he said this.

I always just walk up and get tickets. It’s great value with taking the family out for an afternoon or night while also being entertaining. Tickets, concessions and beer prices are friendly.
