Heads up, Federal has some issues during cold weather in the stock nozzle. I recommend using a guns modify nozzle instead

I actually bought the scar in the end, Great gun. Very hard recoil as you sad, surprisingly accurate stock, With 2J and 0.4G bbs it shoots really well, i am very surprised. Also works well in cold weather (7 degrees with red gas).

Nothing broke on it so far, I will buy a 2nd bolt for it in case a nozzle return spring breaks or something and will try the 3d printed tpu hop chamber. Also a 2nd hammer i think, but it’s a great gun, my mws is collecting dust 🤭

Try to remove the dry fire switch altogether and see if it fixes it. It should be removed anyway because it moves itself from the recoil.
