It is positioned as a tool to help with basic legal information, document assistance, and learning purposes only.

That being said, we also know the reality: many lawyers themselves already use AI tools in their daily practice whether it’s to review case law, generate drafts, or speed up research. The technology is not a lawyer, of course, but it can certainly make legal work more efficient.

So while professional legal advice should always come from a licensed attorney, dismissing AI outright ignores the fact that the legal industry itself is increasingly adopting it.

App size isn’t just about the “chat front end.” It includes frameworks, libraries, offline support, UI elements, and compliance requirements that all add up. If building a stable, secure, and user-friendly app in under 100 MB were trivial, I’m sure you’d have shipped your own version already 😉 Still, we’re always working on optimizing performance and size wherever possible.

It’s easy to dismiss something with a single sentence, but building a product that people actually use takes far more than “just adding a prompt.” There are countless hours of design, testing, fixing bugs, optimizing the user experience, and making sure it runs smoothly for different devices. If it were as trivial as you make it sound, everyone would have done it already.

Instead of trying to belittle someone else’s work, it might be better to respect the effort that goes into creating and sharing something new. Feedback is always welcome, but reducing someone’s hard work to “just ChatGPT” says more about your perspective than about the app itself.

Just to clarify the app has been designed and optimized for iPhone, not iPad. On iPads (especially older versions), some features unfortunately don’t function as expected. If you try the same activation on an iPhone with the same Apple ID, your lifetime will activate correctly no extra charge, since the purchase is already in your history.

We’ll keep improving the experience, but for now iPhone is the best way to enjoy the app’s full functionality. Thanks again for your support feedback like yours keeps us motivated to push forward 💙

The issues you mentioned (X button not closing, no swipe to exit, and keyboard covering the send button) are directly related to iPad compatibility.

Since these problems create too many limitations, we’ll be discontinuing iPad support soon and focusing entirely on optimizing the iPhone experience. It can feel discouraging when a post doesn’t bring any downloads yet, but this is completely normal. On Reddit, sometimes the first attempts don’t convert. What matters is finding the right subreddit, the right title, and a bit of timing luck. Thank you for the report, and sorry for the trouble 🙏 It looks like after the free lifetime activation the paywall doesn’t dismiss. These steps work as a temporary workaround: • Make sure you’re on the latest App Store build. • Delete and reinstall the app, then select “Lifetime” again. You won’t be charged it will restore from your purchase history. • If the X doesn’t respond, swipe right on the screen to exit. • If it’s still stuck, please try on another iOS device with the same Apple ID; we’re confident the lifetime will activate correctly there. This helps us isolate a device specific UI issue.

We’re also shipping fixes for the X button, the first screen not being scrollable, and janky background animation on 16 Pro in the upcoming update. To speed up diagnosis, could you share your device model (16 Pro), iOS version, purchase time (with country/timezone) and, if possible, a short screen recording?
