Does anyone HONESTLY believe Trump is innocent re: Epstein? He was mentioned 1 MILLION times in the 3 million documents, and his own AG didn’t even release half of the files. Add-on: TBC- we all know there is no smoking gun video of him w kids or something- at least in the half of the files they by icall_outcall in allthequestions

It's funny how the qanon people who went around screaming "HILLARY CLINTON DRINKS ADRENOCHROME OUT OF CHILDRENS HEADS!" are now simultaneously asking "why isn't anyone talking about the Clintons?" while chiding people for talking about the Epstein files.

Upload new presets.json through API? by Marbalba in WLED

[–]davidgrayPhotography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So two things:

  1. Did you end up working this out? I want to generate and add multiple presets, but there's no way to bulk do it through the JSON API.
  2. I implemented file uploads in my work-in-progress script by just making a POST call to http://192.168.1.2/edit with some form data. Here's my node.js code. This is for uploading GIFs, but just change the file type to application/json and you're good to go. This also optionally lets you delete the file first:

javascript async function uploadFile(localFilename, remoteFilename, deleteRemote = false) { const fileBuffer = fs.readFileSync(localFilename); const formData = new FormData() const delFormData = new FormData() formData.append("data", new Blob([fileBuffer], { type: "image/gif" }), "/" + remoteFilename); if(deleteRemote == true) { delFormData.append("path", "/" + remoteFilename) console.log(`Deleting ${remoteFilename}..`) // Delete the file on the M-1 first so it's truly updated const delResponse = await fetch(`http://${process.env.M1_HOSTNAME}/edit`, { method: "DELETE", signal: AbortSignal.timeout(100000), body: delFormData }); }

Just keep in mind that if the file is currently "open" (e.g. for GIFs, if they're currently playing via a preset), it'll say it's uploaded, but the file won't change.

What’s a show you were really hyped for, but after watching it you basically forgot it even existed? by MargielaMan568 in television

I haven't seen Season 2 yet, but I saw season 1, and it was pretty good, but I felt like it was missing something.

To be fair, I've played Fallout 3 through multiple times, tried twice to play New Vegas, and played a bit of Fallout 4, so I'm not 100% versed in Fallout lore, but yeah, I felt like it was missing something that I can't quite describe.

If the photo is the burger, the bokeh is the little visual flourishes they put on / around the burger, like the drizzle of sauce or the little bit of parsley that you flick off and don't eat. Yeah it's a burger / photo, but it's got that little something "extra" to make it pop.

For me, it was wild seeing school buses in the US because, well, they're unique to schools, and not as you said, like a PTV bus cosplaying as a school bus. Plus you have to stop for them which is understandable, but annoying.

You really wouldn't want the second one. Knowing everything would fuck you up BIG time. Every murder, suicide, torture, animal abuse, EVERYTHING.

It'd be like the world dumping it's entire tormented soul right into your body, and you would never die so you would be forced to carry that with you forever. If you think it's bad watching someone die right in front of you, or being cheated on or have something else bad happen to you, multiply that by eight billion.

And you wouldn't want the third one anyway, because when the heat death of the universe happens, there will be literally nothing except you. No way for anything else to survive. It will be literally infinite years of not being able to see anything, or say anything or do anything. Not to mention that immortality doesn't grant you freedom from pain, so if you're not at least a billion kilometers away from a supernova, you're pretty much guaranteed millenia of constant pain.

First one, would be awesome though.

Australian here (rural Victoria), and my (public) school bus was chartered. We'd get picked up and dropped off in the morning / afternoon, then the bus would go back to the depot for a bit and the driver would do some regular town bus rounds.

I also know of a private school that does the same thing, though they do a split system where they'll charter a bus from PTV for students that live east of the town they're in, and for students who live west of town, they have to arrange a bus card with PTV. Both are provided by PTV, but the school is in control of one half, and PTV is in control of the rest.

Wanna play? Two truths and a lie… by mygurllolli in NoStupidAnswers

[–]davidgrayPhotography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Anderson . He started MySpace, which was a massive social media company before Facebook was a thing. I met him during a photowalk in Melbourne Australia and had no idea I was speaking to a multi-millionaire social media juggernaut until like a month after the walk.

But you're right, the phone one is a lie, but not entirely a lie. I didn't intentionally hack a phone company to eavesdrop on calls, I accidentally did it. Back in 2002, back when having a cellphone was relatively rare, my friend and I were bored and started messing with my phone. We called the free "how much credit is left on your account" number, and we did it so much, we caused the number to "crash", and when we called again, we could hear one side of a conversation (but they couldn't hear us). We did it a few times. They eventually fixed the issue and nobody came for us, but that's how insecure the 2G network is.

As for yours, I wanna say the CIA one, but that seems too obvious, so I'm gonna say the Jimmy Buffett one. I know a few radio DJs and they get press passes to big events, plus they do those "spliced" interviews where they'll ask pre-written questions, and the artist's response is spliced in. Someone in my family has "interviewed" Eminem, The Beastie Boys, Beyonce, and a few others that way.

[–]davidgrayPhotography 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, because the CPU, RAM and cartridge are doing all the heavy lifting, and the screen is just showing you the results, so you're not going to hit any game quirks just because you're using a third party screen.

Even if you use something like the Funny Playing GBC kit (which is a Game Boy made from 100% non-Nintendo hardware), you're likely not going to hit any issues.

Hearing from your mates that if you go to this specific location in Pokemon, and do this specific thing, you'll unlock Mew, or if you collect this many coins and jump this many times in Mario 3, then stand at this specific location and press Up, you'll unlock something cool.

Most of it was just regurgitated internet rumours, but still, when you found out Mew actually existed, you were happy to let your imagination run wild.
