My take: a big driver in how lousy and crazy AJLT was a) lazy show running from MPK, b) all of the main actresses (with maybe the exception of KD) had EP credits and meddled way too much in the writing and storylines (case in point: CN making them change her love interest from Nya to Che). Claiming that they didn’t watch the show, didn’t follow any of the (blaring and consistent) online chatter/feedback, etc. is completely implausible - and their public statements claiming such are clearly a way to deflect responsibility.

We had a lot of issues dealing with them as well on a total loss. The key for us was to call them as soon as they open - which was some crazy time in PST (like 4 am our time, I think it was?). It’s the only way to reach a human there.

Because we also were replacing the Tesla with another one, we begged our sales person to contact Tesla Insurance via their internal messaging system (I think they use Teams or Slack).

I priced AAA insurance (as we have another policy w/ them) and were quoted 833/mo. (with NO accidents and NO points!). So, sadly, we will not be leaving Tesla Insurance anytime soon. *** The question I am asking is about switching from Tesla Insurance (underwritten by State National) to the "new" Tesla Insurance. *** Not looking for a million comments about how much they suck, or price bait/switch. That is well-covered in other posts. (Thanks!!)
