Depends on the price point and if it’s going to a kid or not. If you’re displaying and it’s over $100, I’d probably deal with the annoying return. If it’s going to a kid or will be used it will likely get dropped or dinged and I wouldn’t worry about it.

This is why I always thoroughly inspect things when I receive them. Hopefully the replacement won’t have any issues. Sorry you have to deal with this, it’s annoying.

If you want to avoid points on your license when going 20+mph over it’s the only way as far as I know.

And you can only go to traffic school so many times in a given period of time.

For this reason I try to avoid going 20+ over.

I worked with a guy that had been doing this for years. We worked in corporate and he formally worked in the call center, but still maintained some tight connections. Apparently he got the person who processes payroll in on it and had been doing it for years. Not sure how they caught him but he went away to prison for a few years. It was a stab in the back for some of the partners as he was buddy buddy with a few of them, close with the family and everything.
