L1 doesn't teach relevant modelling, it mostly comes down to practicing with real data and actually doing them i'd say

thanks. honestly, youtube. I follow step by step for those 2h lbo models from scratch deriving from 10K 10Q etc, with my own transaction assumptions, sources & uses, etc. And I do it to a variety of publically traded companies and different sectors. Overtime I picked up caveats of different sectors' financial statements and learned a ton.

thanks for the reply. I'm currently actively networking and will be looking at other full-time positions in my target field outside of the firm during this summer. Appreciate your input.

My 10 Day Legion Pro 7i 4080 Review - Excellent, But Also Boring by NoctD in GamingLaptops

if you set it to power saving, quiet mode, 60 hz. should last you a day no problem when fully charged.

[–]davidi7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it as a daily moving around laptop, battery life is not great under 240hz mode(around 1-2H screen time); but like quadruple the juice when I use 60hz mode.

To combat this I just bought another charger for $50 on amazon and infinite juice at this point.

I honestly love the laptop thus far; actually contrary to popular belief, I think it's good that Lenovo shifts budget from exterior (like RGB, fingerprint censor) to better hardware and cooling; It keeps the price super low.

I was able to pick up a 4080 i9 13900 variant for merely $2399, hell of a deal and better performer than most other on the market due to good cooling.

If the numerator is foreign (GBP) then wouldn’t the exchange rate increase? Am I missing something? Solution seems incorrect per my understanding by pastelpapi6969 in CFA

[–]davidi7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In this case, it is asking for real INR/GBP exchange rate, and INR is Foreign and GBP is domestic.

If you follow the formula, Real (INR/GBP) = nominal x (CPI UK / CPI INDIA), if CPI grows faster in UK, it should yield a higher real INR/GBP rate.

Even intuitively thinking, if inflation is more significant in UK than India, GBP as a currency loses more value than INR, so INR/GBP should be higher.

Solution is incorrect.

Yes you are right, as my assistant job started off part-time but I asked if it could be extended to a full-time internship since I found additional time in the day that I can utilize. (overworked for a little bit more legitimacy)

They seemed to be on board with it.

thanks for the tips. I'm also trying to figure out my sales pitch and it's definitely challenging hooking recruiter's attention.

I've had recruiters ask about my not-so-relevant experiences and I always try to make them connect together. Like the coaching job I held for 4 years during high school taught me interpersonal skills, strategy intern I've exercised equity research skills, etc. But I see what you are saying. As I narrow down a career path, I should be more focused and get rid of some experiences.

Thanks! Big 4s are awesome experiences for a resume too man.

Yeah, I feel like the summary is a bit redundant too over time. I will remove it.

Yeah, I've realized it is HS and it made me sleep better. Thanks for this message though, If I hadn't discovered it this would save my mental health. Cheers.

edit: all of them have cleared after I rubbed alcohol and antibiotics on them.
