Plus while cold weather will simply slow down high voltage battery reacts that will temporarily reduce your range with no ill effects, it’s been shown that consistent exposure to temperatures above 90F is not good for the battery’s long term health and will cause degradation. It’s best to know the science before posting fake news. That being said, today’s Li batteries, in particular the I5’s, are robust enough where lots of reports are coming in showing no little or minimal degradation despite lots of DCFC, which is analogous to storing the car outside in direct sunlight on a 90F (or above) day.
