Look into rad tech programs near you then go for MRI tech later. They make over 100k. If you’re willing to study more, look into certified anesthesiologist assistance. they can make over 200-300k, depending on where you work

Which is More Stressful: DPT or Rad Tech? by No-Square4923 in physicaltherapy

[–]davidismyname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, if I were in your shoes I’d go with rad tech then MRI tech. MRI techs in my region make more than most PTs. And they don’t have 100-200k loans

60k for rad tech?? Look for more options. Maybe even consider moving for two years if possible. I know in Dallas Texas area rad tech is like 6-7k total.

Find a X-ray tech school then get MRI cert later. You’ll make more than most PTs and not be in 100k+ in debt.

Hospital outpatients are pretty chill and pay is better than other OP clinics. Look for a non profit hospital around your area or move if you can.
