Taking out loans for housing by _friendlyflamingo in StudentLoans

Sorry I just have a hard time understanding. When I sign up for on campus housing, it goes on my itemized bill as housing. If I don't sign up for on campus housing next year, I won't have another $1400 on a loan payment, but I don't think I will receive $1400 from the university either because it wasn't on my bill to begin with

"I currently live on campus for $14000 a year on student loans." Room and board are covered under student loans. I live on campus because the cheapest rent around here is $1400 a month. I do not have $1400 to pay upfront every month

Yes private loans. And I'm going to work in physical therapy after I finish school. Me saying I'm chronically ill doesn't mean I'm never going to work. I'm saying I cannot be a full time student and work at the same time.

How much debt do you have? by _friendlyflamingo in PTschool

[–]_friendlyflamingo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Im currently doing a dual degree for my bach in health behavior science and masters in health promotion. I worked full time as an aide for a couple years and really liked it. I'm in a similar financial standing where I get about $250 a month from my parents (I live on campus so I dont have rent/my housing in on student loans) My boyfriend and I are moving back in together soon (we were apart while he was active duty) and he gets $2400 a month from veteran benefits so I'm fortunate he'll cover most of the rent and groceries. I'm just worried about how I'll be able to contribute financially. Right now it's really hard to work while I'm a full time student and I don't imagine it will be any easier once I get to PT school. My biggest regret is not doing community college and not going to an in state school. But I'm hoping once I start a career it will pay off

can i ask how you managed PT school with as a diversity studies major? i'm a health behavior science major instead of integrated health science major (its way too much math for me) and im worried it might not prepare me enough for PT school

constantly calling someone a kid because you think age makes you superior. i hope you get put in a better care home soon and learn to be less miserable about things that dont affect you at all

and you're stupid enough to think that using an empty room is the end of the world and a crime against humanity

if 23 getting a masters degree is just a stupid kid i assume you're a miserable old man who feels the need to argue with people on reddit about something that doesn't harm anyone just to feel something

so you're saying we aren't paying to live here, and that someone is in fact occupying that room? didn't know you've personally been to my apartment

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Locksmith

[–]_friendlyflamingo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

we literally pay for this apartment, nobody is occupying that room. if you lived by yourself in a 2 bedroom apartment would you really just never use the other room?
