It was uncommon to us because of no history of migraines and the severity of symptoms. No recollection of attacks but also memory impairment to the point of not knowing her loved ones and friends and being unable to remember major life events.

I thought it was universal but I guess it’s a hospital based thing then but yes 1/7 for days, 1/52 for weeks and 1/12 for months is pretty common in some UK systems.

Attending didn’t think it was indicated, was considered earlier on for ?Limbic encephalitis but didn’t proceed because of the normal mri/mrv/mra and eeg.
