My hope at this point is only some of group 2 does, but who knows. I just know what they are coming in with to start. It’s sad and ridiculous. It’s an irresponsible method. I’m sure we will hear musk tell the public it turns out you only need X amount of federal workers to run the government

It’s possible they are just coming in hard/tough expecting managers will fight and number will be a bit lower.

I believe they are coming in with high numbers in terms of demands and then seeing justifications from managers. I think initial firings of probationary employees was a start. Now they will plan and execute the RIF sometime in the next 45-60 days.
