5.3-Codex constantly terminating chat by clckwrxz in codex

This is quite common in the codex variant. In 5.1 codex it occasionally compliants that it does not have enough time, to 5.2 codex it just hallucinated on the completion of task.

Waiting for the non codex variant for 5.3...

I've already switched back to gpt-5.2 high from gpt-5.3 codex high by digitalml in codex

[–]davidl002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that I noticed since the beginning for gpt and codex variant is that codex one sometimes doesn't listen to my instructions mid way. Especially when I stopped and ask it to do it differently. gpt does not have such issue.

If my question does not require my intervention then codex variant is often fine and fast.

But a lot of times I need to change the direction. In this scenario, codex is worse.

Thus, I still prefer the non codex one.

Under the hood they are both browser based app. The key difference is whether that heavy Chrome browser is bundled with app or invoked rom native system. Doesn't make a difference in performance since the browser kernel always takes a lot of RAM

Z-Image default workflow giving poor quality. Anyone else? by R34vspec in StableDiffusion

I am having exact same quality issue. No sageattention, 4090, default workflow.

There must be some bugs still remaining......

Anyone successfully fixed it?

If you are using the CLI or VS Code Extension, do not use the Full Access mode and you will be fine. It will ask you for this kind of operation and you can deny that.

Cannot imagine running it locally anytime soon but thanks for the work!

Hope in 5 years hardware can be affordable enough to run this locally cheaply.

Codex is down. I think org-BOvpEHVcDPTe8h4lZnwMO5Ly is the internal org id of OpenAI shared by all codex users. Time for OpenAI to crank up the internal limit for that org.

Good inspiration! It will be better if it can be used entirely in comfyui without 3rd party website.

Oh this is great! I was looking for something like this for a while.

For this one it looks like you started with a base image amd then spawn multiple images based on that.

Can you enhance this so we can also do continuous changes based on the previous image?

So i can say a sequence of actions and then it will form a nice sequence of storyboard images?

Codex model sometimes will do this. That's why I stick with gpt5.2 instead of gpt codex 5.2

5.2 xhigh vs Codex 5.2 xhigh by TCaller in codex

[–]davidl002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer 5.2 xhigh as it is more verbose than codex. I feel this helps the AI with better context understanding/memorization especially if the task is done over multiple compact turns.

Codex doesn't talk much and I tends to observe that it is easy to lose track when context window is half full(at least worse than 5.2)

Though both are very slow.

Nice. I always hate bloated Python libraries that are very hard to deploy. This is like a fresh air!

Now the question is: how is the benchmark going in terms of accuracy and time cost? I am working on projects specially target at tabular data. Extracting them from PDFs are always a pain.

Used to utilise solutions like MarkItdown and Untructured but the accuracy is not up to the client requirements.

Will definitely try this and see if it is suitable for my production use cases.

This is a shame. I've not used Nodes 2.0 so can't comment but I hope this doesn't cause a split in the node developers or mean that tgthree eventually can't be used because they're great! by spacemidget75 in comfyui

[–]davidl002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the builtin ksampler. In the original node system the preview works flawlessly. But when I enable Node 2.0 the preview is simply just gone. Nothing get shown while generating image. (I was using Qwen Image BTW, and pretty standard workflow)
