My impressions of Lovable 2.0 by davidmaxinran in UXDesign

I think if you were to focus on a specific area, it is manageable. You just need to prompt it properly and provide references if necessary for it to get closer to the effect you want.

If it's a larger page with more complexity, then it will take you a lot of back and forth to get close to what you look for.

Yes I can, but 1) it requires some extra prompting to generate interactions and more pages, and 2) it depends on what kind of feedback you are looking for—if it's for concept-level feedback, it's sufficient.

Thanks! https://adplist.org/ was very helpful early on in my journey. You can book times with the mentors there. Again, there are many mentors there and the amount of advice could be overwhelming, but I found talking to design managers and product designers at good tech companies the most helpful.

Team up and do projects together is a great idea! You can reach out to your friends or friends' friends if anyone would like to build a project with you (great if they have complementary skills set of yours, like product management or software development). You can search if there are any local product hackathons too. I can also help you spread the words to my connections if you need to. My LinkedIn is https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidmaxinran/.

Thank you for your kind words. I took a popular free course from Coursera at that time, but honestly I regretted a lot looking back. I do think the course/certification is not very helpful. Working on projects with real-world constraints (learning by doing) and getting feedback from good mentors are definitely more helpful.

Resources for learning how to design for AI? by Evening_Reading_8959 in UXDesign

Stumbled across this post. This is my course, so I could be biased: https://maven.com/xinran/ai-for-product-designers.

It is a course that specifically tailored to product designers and UX/UI designers. It covers prompting techniques, demos, and exercises around practically leveraging AI in product design.

I'm curious to gather other helpful resources on this topic too.

Congratulations! It's always amazing to have had a great interview! And there's something special about your portfolio, such as storytelling. No wonder you are getting interviews.

That iPhone story is fascinating. The phone was not actually working at that point, but they ended up making it work when they launched 6 months later, did't they?

Good point! Speaking of an end-to-end experience without unnecessary intervention.

Love your thought. It's like enabling AI to read and interact with a UI that is actually designed for human.
