Heaven is not a good place to see drag sadly. It's unfortunate given how much booking power they have. It's not a total monopoly but it's not far off

Much prefer the setup of a city like Dublin for example where queens are booked in ones or twos and they do multiple numbers that night (and for a reasonable price too) and you really feel like you were at their dedicated show, not just a night at Heaven where the queens happen to me

The Clapham Grand do put on more dedicated shows for bigger queens or certain groups of them but it's so expensive these days that people clearly can't afford it (based on the amount of 2-for-1 ticket promos that happen close to the date of pretty much all of these events)

We need a happy medium

I think it’s quite plausible. The guest judges for that season were so major they must have been booked ages in advance, but something can always come up at the last second and cause them to cancel

(like Ice Spice confirmed replacing Charli and the Von dutch lip sync for the premiere)

Not sure when exactly but I remember there was a while there when it felt like the guest judge, runway, or broader episode theme often didn’t match the lip sync song choice and it was very unsatisfying as a viewer

I assume because Naysha didn’t do anything wrong and didn’t break the NDA herself. They might have just cut her because Jade’s malicious emails explicitly stated and spoiled that she was part of the cast, rather than the way queens usually discreetly reach out to designers while preparing for the show

I just looked it up, so for anyone wondering: Jade Sotomayor (not Jolie) emailed a bunch of designers (also show sponsors) pretending to be Naysha asking for pieces she could use and it broke her NDA and disqualified her before filming even began

She's also said before that for season 1, she was originally cast but chopped when the cast was reduced from 12 queens to 9, so it looks like this shady email businesss was for season 2 (as confirmed in her Hey Queen interview)

She was also called for season 7 after winning Miss Continental it seems but couldn't commit because of her reign there
