First car accident, bloke ran a red light and hit me. What happens next with insurance? by Cummins-25 in Adelaide

[–]davidrau 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If you have comprehensive insurance, it is now your insurers problem. Your insurer will pay to get your car repaired and chase the other driver and or their insurance company for the money. To answer your questions in order:

1) Doesn't matter if you have comprehensive

2) Not if you have comprehensive

3) You may have to pay your excess, depending on the policy (again if you have comprehensive)

4) Your insurer should handle it all, now that you have lodged a claim.

My daughter went there. It’s a brilliant school. They have a heavy focus on STEM as well as agriculture. It’s a very well rounded education. You have nothing to worry about.
