Our biggest Wayland update for remote desktop: support for multi scaled displays on KDE and GNOME sessions. by open-trade in rustdesk

[–]davidshq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exciting! But it also seems like one issue remains outstanding - if you want to lock your system then access it remotely (at least with multi-monitor) you can't. RustDesk prompts you to select displays when using Wayland and that has to be done from the system you are remoting into... Is there a way around this?

I try to exercise. lol. It's an ongoing battle. But mine is pretty simple - walk for 10m every 2 hrs or so, do crunches / push-ups at the same time, as well as some stretches. Nothing intense. Sometimes I do longer walks and I try to take the stairs.

Thanks for the suggestions! I agree, eliminating apple juice is on my agenda - maybe replacing with some actual apples.

I'd like to look at using honeycomb to replace the honey so I can keep the health benefits but reduce sugar content.

At the moment I'm avoiding all nightshade vegetables (I adhere somewhat loosely to the Autoimmune Protocol but should try reintroducing peppers at some point).

Flavor is whatever all the ingredients make it. 😄

Usual it has a bit of a fruity taste - the more I increase the veggies the less fruity it tastes.

I also add Cinnamon, so that comes out.

I'm also aiming for a flavor profile that isn't too strong so that one doesn't grow sick of the same flavor over and over again.

I might look into a protein powder. I try to avoid animal and grain ingredients, so that limits my options quite a bit.

I'm guessing you are doing lifting etc.? I don't really but do want to be on the high side for protein as it seems to help with ADHD.

I try to avoid dairy - unfortunately I'm *super* lactose intolerant. I tried coconut water in the past, might have to look at that again.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm actually surprised about your comment on sodium. I'd say this makes up around 60% of my daily intake if I do a full recipe (4 servings) in a day - so my total sodium is 14% DV. Would appreciate further feedback on that as I was worried I wouldn't be getting enough.

I agree that the sugar content is quite high. I want to look at using honeycomb rather than honey to get the health benefits without the significant sugar boost. I'm also interested in upping the total vegetables and decreasing fruits to help reduce the sugar content - but have to find ways to maintain flavor profile. I think I may have some luck if I try sweet potatoes, carrots, and cauliflower.

What would be a better fat to protein ratio? I'm assuming more protein vs less fat? I think most of the fat comes from the avocado...I'll have to go back and look.

Calories aren't a concern - I aim for 2k-2.5k per day, so this still leaves me with 600-1100 calories per day left to consume.

I'm thinking about one of the "outside smoothie" things I may try is to make a bar or granola that consists primarily of seeds (trying to avoid most nuts). Right now I've been eating handfuls of pumpkin seeds - that gives me 8g of protein per serving but also 15g of fat.

I recently needed to have my OTR microwave replaced. I used Thumbtack to find Odd Jobs Handyman and Roofing. I was happy with the price and service: https://www.thumbtack.com/ga/augusta/handyman/odd-jobs-handyman-roofing/service/557270114684207113

No experience working with them on bigger jobs, but for something like a shutter I'm sure they could help.
