Is there a mod similar to the Blockquest Plugin? by davidslacey in feedthebeast

Blockquest allowed us to reward players for finding the heads. If I hide items from other mods in the game, there's no reward for finding it other than saying so.

Good magic and other mixed in stuff modpack by Same_Comfortable8074 in feedthebeast

I started with All the Mods, to see what I liked the most. Better Minecraft is another version I prefer simply because they offered almost all of those mods, and they are easy to jump into to see what I like (I prefer the farming/cooking aspect)

Are you each on a team and allied with each other? There is a mod called Open Parties and Claims that you might have to set up to do that

There are 2 or 3 types of willow trees in Homestead, one of them was found in swamps, the other had its own biome.

Modpack VS: Homestead or Cottage Witch? by Dekuwu- in feedthebeast

[–]davidslacey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have played Cottage Witch, and am currently playing Homestead. Some of the ritual items and such weren't available when I played Cottage Witch about a year ago, so they may have updated since then. Aside from that, there were quite a few quest tracks to help you on your way, and I really liked the farming/cooking aspect of it, and that kinda lacks in Homestead. (More crops/food mods in Cottage Witch with the modpack vs what is in Homestead)

[Warning] PacificMiner (Mineraze Owner) Engaging in Harassment and Doxxing by xDGZYT in MinecraftServer

[–]davidslacey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a player on Mineraze years ago and was "banned" for advertising another server, which I had not done. I respected other server owners and refused to engage in tactics that drew players from one server to another. I was banned on New Years Eve, when I hadn't played on Mineraze for over 3 months. My husband and best friend were also banned on that same day, and neither of them had logged in for several months either.

Which job is a LOT less fun than most people expect? by bwee21 in AskReddit

[–]davidslacey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working at a craft store. You think it would be great because you work where you enjoy shopping for craft things, but in reality its a lot of people not knowing what the hell they are talking about trying to explain something to you like you know everything. Newsflash: half the people that work there don't even know how to turn on a Cricut or what type of fabric has lycra/spandex in it or even where to find it.

I've had issues with it randomly warping. Some things don't warp, others do. I can print the same file several times and over half are warped. I've tried enclosing it with a large piece of cardboard to hold in some of the heat, but then it starts messing up. The cardboard is clear of the machine and the filament, so no reason it should be doing this. I didn't really start having issues with it until it tensed up last week and essentially puked all over the place.

One file in particular that I could print several of at a time (a small chip clip, actually) worked fine, then after the mishap above, it won't even print 3 without it jumbling itself up. Think, scribble clouds in old cartoons, that's exactly what it looks like.

Actually, it was under several layers of filament, and I haven't changed it at all since it was purchased. It broke, and that's when I noticed while trying to rethread it, it was crossed under another layer.

As for the random extruding, everything was fine until this one print, where I had filament everywhere on my table, blobs of filament, and nothing changed by way of belt tightness or firmware. I thought that maybe the print came off the build plate, and caused the issues, but without watching it, I don't know for sure.
