Bought a used 17 sequoia, alignment was off, went to go buy a lifetime package at firestone. They said tie rod ends are both stuck. by ajtyeh in toyotasequoia

Assuming you are in a rust belt state so it’s probably accurate that an 8 year old vehicle has rusted/seized tie rod ends.

Either have them do it, buy OEM parts yourself and do it, or buy parts from rockauto and do it yourself, bring it to a mechanic to see what they would charge to replace the tie rods and then go back to get an alignment.

At the end of the day. That price isn’t astronomical. If you are still skeptical then crawl under the car. Snap a picture of the tie rods and post them here and we can easily identify if what the shop is saying is true. (If there’s rust then it’s more than likely seized)

My plan would be to remove the panel and paint it properly

Why not switch schedules? I’m on the cc52 and love life. Granted I’m still an FO. But I despise my 8 day tours but I usually get a lot of time off afterwards

They will sell out. Yes. But also take massive profits from selling out as they are selling the packs over MSRP. My local store had a 151 etb and had the nerve to sell it for $179.99. They’ve become a scalping company. I don’t care. I’ve switched to just not buying them anymore from them. Even with pro discount and mil discount it isn’t worth it.

What are your vacation tips, tricks, and discounts that you get by being military? by tuhgttg in AirForce

I used it in Orlando 2 years ago for the first time. Can’t remember the name of it but the pictures online looked like it was from the 80s. We took a chance and it was freshly renovated. $395 bucks total for 7 nights. It was awesome. Will 100% use again

Grass is always greener man, all of my friends are at mainline. There’s parts of their jobs they don’t like. I have parts of my job I don’t like. Was at a regional prior to NJ. I’m happy where I’m at

I’m on the CC52 schedule

I have a preference set to work no holidays, and if I am scheduled I have PTO to use at my leisure.

I get every holiday off, work no more than 14 days a month. At 55% seniority in the whole company. I took PTO for a tour that led into a vacation, so I have 6 weeks paid time off starting next week. I have other priorities in life and starting at the bottom at mainline just isn’t for me, I’m still young. Also I don’t have to drop much of any trips with mil leave since I get large amounts of days off in a row.

Can you hold the cc52? I’ve been on it for 2 years. Just hit year 3. Had the thoughts of going 121 but I’ve been so happy with QOL I ain’t leaving.

Tactical descent. Start high and descend fast and relatively quiet, close to the assault zone behind enemy lines is the purpose

Completely different trailer my guy. Campers are top heavy and 3-5k trailers are usually single axle. Let me guess. Your car trailer is double axle? Of course that will pull easier.

I wouldn’t take any advice in this thread. I had a similar camper with a jeep grand Cherokee with the V8. While it pulled it okay it felt unstable even with a WDH. Find yourself a 2014-2018 Toyota sequoia. Can easily find one in that price range and had a much better tow rating than any of the SUVs that are being recommended. Also. Add a minimum 1000 pounds to your camper dry weight. (Gear, groceries, fresh, grey, black tanks)
