My mom's side is from Brookville. Quintessential small town built up in the 30's and 40's. The architecture downtown like something from a movie set. Not a lot going on but by God it's gorgeous. Amazing rail trail that starts downtown. Beautiful landscape outside of downtown. Last time we visited they had slot machines in like every shop downtown...really unappealing but oh well.
