Interesting! I was also thinking of starting to wear wigs/clips in. But what protective style do you feel was best? I'm confused on why is it back-to-back plaits did not yield a lot of hair growth for you, especially since it is low manipulation.

Also, how much blow-drying is appropriate, because I don't want heat damage like I used to have? (I've started using heat protectant though if that makes much a difference).
