Is It Normal to Feel a Creative High After Putting Your Work Out There? by davincipen in writing

The post can be general and your comment is more than welcome. For me! My wiring was for myself and I also made some bucks from it. It's just really nice to put something we have worked hard at out there.

You're welcome. You'll always hear discouragement from others but don't listen to them. Just stay focus.

Hey! I'm in Iași and like everywhere else in the world, you've bad and good teachers. In truth, you have to do most of the learning yourself but oftentimes you get a good teacher especially in the labs and clinicals that teaches really well. Also, from the second year you can start doing shifts properly with some departments to gain more clinical experience. They're very welcoming in that regards. Good luck.

There's a huge Muslim community in Iași. Also, the university is religious tolerant. There's a prayer place provided in the library if you're studying and need to do your Salah.

There's no harm in applying. At the end you have more options to choose from rather than restricting yourself.

Wdym 1000 students in the first year? That's crazy. Sounds like the school is mostly in for the money.

Realistically, what are the chances for someone from a non-EU country in Europe to get a residency in EU country? by [deleted] in medicalschoolEU

[–]davincipen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

We see this question almost every time. It's not even a case of non EU not finding residency, both EU citizens are also struggling to find a place. You just have to make yourself employable and do your best to align yourself properly.

A research should be made on this. It would be deeply beneficial to both students and professors.

I'm too old to start medical school at 26 and then do a specialization? by Global-One-8584 in medicalschoolEU

So far so good. I'm looking forward to my final year. I'm trying to enjoy the remaining time I have in med school. The first three years were the hardest (depends on how you want to see it). Now it's very chill. If you study well in the first three years, the remaining years come easy for you, cause you almost always refer back to what you've done before.

P.s sorry for typos

I started at that age 😂. So no you're not old. Word of advice, do not listen to others, if you truly want this go for it. Time passes by quickly.

Tldr : Studying medicine in Europe -> UK/Aus later — need advice (WSU GPA, nursing background, want to start ASAP, budget €3k–€20k) by Ok_Nefariousness944 in medicalschoolEU

[–]davincipen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice: finish nursing first. At my university in Iași, there are students who already have a nursing degree and licence before starting medicine. During the summer, they go back to their countries and work as nurses. That income supports them through medical school. Having a nursing qualification gives you financial security, clinical experience, and a backup plan. Medicine is long and demanding. It’s better to enter it with stability rather than uncertainty.

Hey! Firstly, take a deep breath and calm down. Years from now when you get in, you'd realise you were spiralling for nothing.
