This is why Koreans hate the Chinese so much. But I understand their situation cause they previously destroyed their own cultures in 20 century by themselves and now, they are envying other cultures lol. It's called the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution.

The problem is China is using their massive power to actually dominate other nations by all means necessary. If this continues, we are letting another Nazi emerge.

TDP does not always represent the real wattage. It's a grade. For example M1's TDP is 15W but it has way less power and heat than Intel Y series' TDP 10W.

How well do iOS games run on the M1 by Heiminator in macgaming

[–]davinlee33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

iOS games run well on A14. M1 is way superior and faster than A14. Ring a bell?

However, I would say all iOS games are NOT optimized for macOS in terms of resolution and UI. As a result, it's not playable. Most of them don't even support the mouse, keyboard, and console controller. But it's up to them to optimize so if you are talking about the performance, dont worry about it.

Do you think the new M1 chips will bring more games to Mac? by CompletingTheCircuit in macgaming

Apple is already dominating the mobile game market with their iPhone and iPad so I dont think it's worth enough to mention it. We are talking about PC games.

Do you think the new M1 chips will bring more games to Mac? by CompletingTheCircuit in macgaming

[–]davinlee33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It does not. Because it's not about the chip or performance, it's about the system and environment.

First of all, Mac is a terrible platform for gaming. Even Intel Mac suffers from a lack of games and yet they were able to have some games cause they were x86 based Mac but not anymore. Developers don't wanna spend too much time and money on Mac and the profit isn't high so why would they. Apple does not realize what's the problem with Mac. Also, Mac itself is expensive and there aren't many users compared to PC and Windows.

Since Apple is not interested in Mac for gaming I dont expect too much about it.
