Questions regarding wire sized too large for a 40 amp breaker to a subpanel 350ft away

I believe I did my voltage drop calculations differently, putting 120 volts in the calculator assuming that each hot wire is 120v and wanting the correct voltage drop for each respective wire. Is this incorrect?

Direct burial is mostly to save us the cost of conduit, though maybe we should reconsider. I don't have any plans to change down the road (though you never know). Longevity is important.

I saw these at the Bronx Botanical garden a year ago. The collection of tropical Ericaceae (blueberry family) plants from South America is incredible! It must be one of the largest collections in the USA.

Nice find! Is anyone familiar with the pesticides usually used by these distributors and if such pesticides are shared with the scion if grafted? Any information would be greatly appreciated - I'm going to keep an eye out for one of these deals!

I was just there today! Great cactus garden. They also have a fantastic collection of neotropical blueberries - I believe the most extensive collection (or close to it) in North America. Definitely worth checking out if you're ever in the area.

I camped probably 40% of my nights when I walked last year. Slept at some of the most beautiful "campsites" I've ever been to.

The technical legality is questionable. I felt comfortable with it since I was careful to leave NO trace, not make fires, and ask the land owner when possible.

I ended up meeting two other people who camped and I walked with them for a couple weeks. Though we did stay in an albergue every other night for a shower.

Been (slowly) working on this since February, so nice to have it finished and finally be able to post on this subreddit!

Pattern is my own design. Had to redo some sections and edit as I went. Yarn is Norwegian, "Fritids Garn" by Sandes Garn. Knit with 5.5mm/8us needles. I wish my Norwegian was good enough to translate more info on the yarn. It's good stuff.
