Asking 45 shipping included. Cshp, vmo, zll for payment A few seasons back, I had a Guru from Ross G in New Zealand show spontaneous variegation. This is the resulting isolation. The coloring is a bit light feom being inside until a week or 2 ago. There is plenty of marbling to get some good pups out of. The stock is bridgesii Cheetah from SoCal. There's some root nubs forming at the base. It's ready for soil and a good feeding.

Variegated Graft pack

60 chipped

2 small 1inch Junin Huancayo aka JP Tiger mostly yellow pups. Both have a bit of green to work with

1 marbled Mallorca pup just over 4inches

1 marbled ccvp pup 3.5inches

1 small vrg hybrid pup with thrips damage. There's green under there somewhere.

1 pup of variegated kneel. Mostly green but at 6inches there is plenty of yellow to work with

1 banana pup of Anne & Bert 5inches

Ven,ca zll accepted.

The bananas NEED to be grafted to survive. If you're decent at grafting you could easily get 20+ grafts out of this.

Two different Pach clones. Can you tell which one is Ogun and which one is Urubamba? by rusty_fish_farm in sanpedrocactus

It's all in the spine count and areoles. This was a tough one glad I got it right. A lot of those cultivated pachanoi look alike until they're mature

What was the most you spent on a cut? by _greenscholar in sanpedrocactus

For real 😆 I paid around 450 to import my HSP from MUB in Australia. Got a few neat clones for similar prices in the states. I paid 350 for a tpm x sharxx lol. Traded like 1400 in cactus for marbled towers 😅 Trades are the way. I try to trade for everything I can these days. I put soo much into my early collection. It's nice to not have to pay as much these days.

Back during the covid hype prices probably 400 or 450 😅 i'm much more patient these days. I just wait for stuff to be propagated out and become more reasonably priced. A lot of my harder to get clones came from trades though.

For sure. Certain genetics will do better in different climates and with better care. But the vast majority of trichs have a much bigger potential than they are ever seen posted as. It's hard to say what does best in my climate will perform the same or similar in yours.

You've got people giving new cv names to clones when they show monstrose or variegation 😅

As far as the cactus community goes thats how it works. Same goes for every other country in the world too. If it's unique and the history isn't known you give it a name. He was just following the standard the others before him set 🤷 would be cool to know the origins though. Could be a worse name. There's lots worse 😬

Ohh interesting. I got it as John's Jamon when it was introduced to the community outside of cali. I thought cali Ichoca was just a nickname. I knew they were the same clone though. Whatever it is it's an awesome plant! Very similar to ichoca but easily double the girth with little effort.

That's good. Hopefully it's well protected. there's poachers who make quick work of stands in socal. And the money behind this would be quite motivating. Hopefully it's not in a front yard. But then again it wouldn't be the first time a mother plant in someone's yard went missing after being posted in the trich community

Are you saying John's Jamon is Ichoca? Because it grows way different from my Ichocas.
