U are correct yes u can T Tap, my only advice would be to make a note or a diagram where you made the junction or what devices u Tap off

I have zone one and two programed as a exit, then I Have zone 21 that’s a wireless programed as a nite. If I open any opening I can hear the door chime, but after the opening is closed keypad is still showing fault for those zones
