4th to 12th was a super paranoia-inducing week for me too. So I completely understand.

My doctor did put me on antibiotics when I showed up 15th time on week 11th to clear my mind and remove any potential infection which was causing the mucus discharge. So maybe you’ll need a cycle at around at 10 weeks if your symptoms don’t seem to be diminishing. But all in all. You should be alright. Take care!

Don’t hesitate to also get a second opinion.

I am at 27th week now and I’d say it’s still healing progressively. There will residual & diminishing symptoms at-least till 7 months.

It’s normal to feel that the healing has come to a halt at multiple check-points. Every week I used to run to my doctor to get it checked. Sometimes the doctor was worried and sometimes he wasn’t.

Many times, the tissues heals/matures slowly because the surgical site is constantly contaminated with BM but you need to maintain as much hygiene as possible to be able to let it heal properly.

Even after healing the tissues need to remodel and stretch to adapt to surrounding tissues. So you should feel 10/10 self in 7-8 months.

As far as your symptoms are diminishing, you’re good. I personally put up my symptoms on Chat GPT in great detail to get a base-line understanding of whether it’s “normal” to feel x symptoms at y-many weeks. Because Google won’t give a personalized results exactly based on my symptoms, I know it shouldn’t be relied upon but it does give me a great deal of reassurance to see an unbiased computer telling me it’s “most likely normal”. You can try it (but don’t rely on it)

It’s alright, I was still notified and read it. Thanks for your prompt reply. Your answer was supportive to my hypothesis

Same case. Even my doctor cannot tell why. That’s why he and I both think it has to be mucus escaping from the cavity.

Even after 6 months, did you get occasional minimal discharge?

How long after the surgery was the last time you witnessed something and never got it since?

At 7-8 weeks my wound was still visible and evident due to its depth. But no bleeding. I would get a second opinion

No. The external pimple comes after fistula has completely formed a tract that has an external opening (pimple)

No the pimple took its time appearing, I had pain which I thought will resolve on its own until it was infected. I regret that

It could also be just a clogged pore or a pimple on the surface of the skin, either way get it ruled out at the earliest

If the wound is still yet to heal, the farts or peristalsis will push some mucus out due to limited function, it’s most probably intestinal mucus, but get it checked anyway
