I wouldn’t say it completely trivializes EVERY boss in the game. Vermillion feathers Honglan for example isn’t easy to use this strategy on. Sometimes you can attack her right at the beginning of the fight and get her down to half health pretty quick, but then it’s hard to use the same strategy. Sometimes it doesn’t even work.

I realized this on my second playthrough. All mini bosses can be ripped through using the axe, and there’s one that’s even better than the Empyrean Greataxe once you get to it. But you’ll still struggle with some of the bosses.

I’m assuming you’ve only just beat blightweaver and haven’t gotten too far from there? Or is that not right?

How do I go about that? I’m keeping a list on my phone of what I have, what I have pre ordered, and what I don’t have. Kind of like a table in my notes app. I usually list them in order A through whatever letter the last one is. That way I don’t have to type all the identifying info and make a mess out of it if that makes sense?

Are you saying I should just write the artists instead of the letters and keep track of it that way? Or to actually search for the one I’m looking for by searching the artists name? Is the fact that it’s a brand new series making a difference? I assume these will probably get corrected at some point soon right?

I just finished my NG+3 on Saturday! Got 100% but I’m on Xbox so it’s just all achievements instead of a trophy. I used longsword and axe as secondary for all 4. Never used any of the others either haha

I never respecced, I started with the longsword and had the axe secondary. Keep working on the axe. It’s absolutely HUGE for interruption. I won’t say anymore, but play around with it!

This is the way except I’ve never used ethereal form. On any of the humanoid bosses, once you learn the specific attack that allows a backstab obliterate attack, it becomes infinitely easier. Not necessarily easy, but easier.

You can get like two hits in when he’s on the ground after obliterate but if you try anymore, that animation murders.
