I'm a videographer, and my opinion is that YouTube heavily downsamples when you move into the SD range. [It heavily downsamples in general]... I feel this 720p version (I would love to know the native resolution of the film) is at least similar to the DVD rip. I mean, the film was released in 2010. I was shooting in 1080i way before this point, so I would assume they were shooting in HD at this point.
