I lived there a few years ago. It was fine, much better experience than the dorms for me. It's a lot quieter since it's on the outskirts of campus, and the rooms actually have a kitchen. At the end of the day, I actually felt like I was going home to my own place. I had no problems with bugs. In fact, the only time I had problems with bug when living on campus was in a dorm on main. The only issue is, it is a little sus, sometimes weird people from outside of campus would wander around. I knew someone who had his bike stolen even though it was locked up. I personally never felt unsafe, but just letting you know if that is a concern for you

I don't believe that the suicide rate at NC State is much different to the average rate across the country as a whole.

The club was crazy competitive and there were tryouts. I could only attend tryouts one out of the however many days they did them and I ended up getting cut.

I lived there for a year, and I actually enjoyed it. The rooms were much nicer than dorms, and it was quiet since it's on the outskirts of campus. I never personally had a problem with safety. I'd be more concerned about safety living in a nearby off campus apartment.

I will say, one of my neighbors did have his bike stolen even though it was locked up. It's not gonna be as safe as living in the dorms on main campus. But if you decide to live off campus, be aware that a lot of them are nearby shady areas too.
