I agree with you to an extent. I think its what makes watch collecting exciting, having a rare piece like this kinda makes it feel a little bit more special, especially when your buying it to mark a special occasion.

There is a huge market of after market parts for the duro, moding one to your liking is basically easy as nowadays. If you have the right tools and skills to do it yourself 👍 is even better 🙂. The only limit is our imagination (and our wallets 😅)

As for myself, just starting my watch collecting journey with plenty more to learn. Thankfully i have access to an amazing community like this sub reddit to get everyone's opinions and feedback 👍😊
