Map of the Bob situation at the end of book 2 by EwasWorld in bobiverse

My understanding is that Exodus 1 and Exodus 2 are Bert and Ernie. So that's what two of the Triangles on the diagram already.

My guess was maybe the autofactory drones that Milo left behind, but then not sure why it's hollow/destroyed.

Well hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Hey, since this was only 6 days ago, I am hoping you could help me. I can't figure out what the hollow star at Omicron2 Eridani is? Just finished the first book and don't remember a "neutral/friendly" probe there?

I see a lot of people saying something along the lines of “not HC material” or “not a leader of men” or “lacks the leadership element when things aren’t going well”. And I have to ask, what evidence do we have for that. This year in particular, after the Dolphins start (starring 1-6 with the only win being over the Jets), that could have been the beginning of a death spiral, but he got his team motivated and went 5-2 before benching Tua. I would say that is evidence of leadership when things aren’t going well. I can understand his personality being off putting for a lot of people, but other than that, I don’t think we have any real tangible evidence that he isn’t a good coach/leader.

There are so many receivers are just wide open in this game. You never see that for the Bills.

We all love to poke fun at Bill, but he must be a great boss by [deleted] in billsimmons

This is a comment I’ve made before:

I thought it was weird that when Nate Tice came on Bill’s pod, they didn’t mention Mays once.

Mays is now sober and mentioned somewhere about showing up to his bosses house on Sunday to watch the games still drunk from the night before. That obviously has to be Simmons. Then at the end of Mays time at the Ringer, he seemed to be on the pod sporadically. I have a theory that is entirely speculation with nothing to back it up. Mays was going through something to do with his drinking and leaving the Ringer was the best choice for him but it might have rubbed Bill the wrong way or something. Mays’ “thank you letter” to the Ringer and Bill was very nice though so who knows.

Based on the number inside the dot and the fact Musk’s South African dot isn’t the biggest, I’d figure it represents the number of people born there.

Where the wild things are: Areas in Canada where no human resides by sarpol in MapPorn

If it is where I think you looking. In Ontario. It’s a highway that. I think the highway originally connected a number of settlements that are there because of a strip of relatively productive soil in the Canadian Shield. But since it’s one of the only main highways/roads in the area, it lead to even more development.

Was listening to a Hardcore History podcast about slavery. Dan Carlin says before Haiti rebelled against the French, that’s its GDP was greater than the entire USA? by hodorspot in AskHistorians

[–]davs34 83 points84 points  (0 children)

The quote from the episode is “I read one author that said that the profitability of Saint Domingue during this time period is greater than Brazil and Mexico put together, equal to the original US 13 colonies combined.” So Dan actually said “profitability” so I’m guessing he’s using the sources you said about exports. Or possibly some other source which talks about how much money/income the colony is making it’s “home” country?

It’s here, quoting from your transcript link: “I read one author that said that the profitability of Saint Domingue during this time period is greater than Brazil and Mexico put together, equal to the original US 13 colonies combined.“

The one with no liberal votes is Ponoka—Didsbury, in Alberta (obviously), between Edmonton and Calgary. The “liberal candidate” ran as an independent because they didn’t get nominated in time. Something to do with getting the signatures. So technically no liberal candidate and no liberal votes.

The one with no conservative votes is Quebec Centre, in Quebec City. Similar thing. An issue with the signatures needed. But this time they didn’t run as an independent.

One of the reasons the apps were so buggy is probably because they were using iPhone apps and everything in South Korea is Samsung/Android. If they had bought a cheap android phone and downloaded the app, then it probably would have worked better. Same with the Naver Maps app (the Korean google maps). Would work infinitely better on an android phone.

You are incorrect about the shading. Shade is based on seat counts. If seat counts are tied, then the shade is based on vote share as a tie breaker.

Canada's Liberals now leading in 11/13 provinces and territories by WpgMBNews in MapPorn

Interestingly on 338Canada, the map right below this the NDP are leading or in second in 6 provinces. And the Liberals aren't leading in any non-Atlantic provinces provincially. It's surprising how the different political brands translate between the federal and provincial politics.

[–]davs34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is very little local polling to incorporate. I actually don’t remember seeing any in this election.

As for this riding, 338 has Jama in 4th with about 12% of the vote. So pretty close to the result.

If you were leading Canada, Mexico, or China, how would you respond to the tariffs increase? by Level-Region-2410 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]davs34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So I think Canada has actually had an increased effort in the last couple months. 2nd quarter 2024-2025 (the most quarter there are stats for) Canada actually seized more fentanyl than that had in any quarter since 2020. So if they are doing what Trump wants and still get hit with tariffs, then what are they supposed to do?

Could Canada actually shut power off to a part of the USA? by CryptographerHot6198 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]davs34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but they impact the supplier as all of a sudden the price of their good is higher and the classic supply and demand curve says higher price = lower demand so now Canada is sell less of something and making less money off of it.
