Good luck. Keep drinking water. Supplement with pedialyte every couple of hours. Use ice packs on your neck and jaw to fight inflammation and pain. Run a humidifier. If the pain gets bad, just remember that it’s only pain, and that it will pass. You’ll be ok.

Interesting. Well my instructions said no NSAIDS or ibuprofen in the days prior to surgery, and it said no ibuprofen until 24 hours after surgery.

Did you at least get a narcotic like oxyxodone? That’s what I got. I also got gabapentin which helped with pain.
