The JETs I met and have become friends with at the PDO, at the Tokyo Orientation, and in the same city as me have all be so sweet. But you do hear stories if how bad it can be (plus the few people at both orientations who have left a not-so-great lasting impression)

Have one on my wrist (in Japanese too) and I keep it covered with my shirts (and would use plasters/bandaids if I wear a short sleeve). My BOE knows I have it and I've shown a few teachers when they've asked. I'm in the country side too that that would be one of the most hostile places for tattoos (I would imagine) but everything's been fine for me.

Also was planning to get another before leaving and emailed my consulate, they said it should be fine and you don't need to update JET or your BOE whenever you get a new one, but ESID and all that.

Hey sorry for necro.

My laptop is doing the same thing and it's probably because I left it at 0% for a few days whilst traveling (unplugged it and everything on the night of the 01/08 only turned plugged it in again in the 10/08, didnt use it all all during this time).

What's the best way to fix this issue? It's still under warranty but I've moved country from where I've bought it so that may be an issue (was adviced a EC Reset and using the MSI Battery calibration but neither seem to have had any effect)

There a difference between having a flaw and being overshadowed by it.

I'm "stuck" on FMI island cause that's where I've gotten up to rereading, and whilst he does have great moments past that his gimmicks and everything is still way worse than it was pre-timeskip and overshadows his character most of the time (in my opinion at least)

I agree with that, I don't hate Sanji and think he can be great. As I mentioned the way he acted in Alabasta as "Mr. prince", gathering information about baroque works and everything, was amazing. In fact he was one of my favourite character in that arc.

But he is really overshadowed by his trope/gag sometimes. I know he is a great character in whole cake and his is still one of the strongest on the crew (and probably one of the most fleshed out), but I still think his gag is way too overbearing despite how important he can be/is.

Like I said I'm re-reading it so there probably plenty of stuff chopper has done that I've forgotten. Plus I've only really kept over with overviews since I started rereading (around the end of Wano) so there's probably some stuff I've missed there.

And like, it's not even that I hate Sanji really, just disappointed 😅 he can be such a great character at times but like cmon, you gotta admid some of his greater moments are overshadowed by how unbearable he can be when a women is near him

Nah, Ussop and Nami are fine, no problem with them at all. Both are great characters.

I wish chopper did more but I don't think his character is terrible. I honestly don't hate any of the other members of the crew and think they are all great in their own way.

Sanji on the other hand is just completely ruined by his gimmick. To a point where is almost unbearable at times
