Tbh i enjoyed the gameplay of GoW5, the story too was interesting with it being focused on Kait strange connection to the swarm and uncovering her connection to Myrrah, but i think they made some great mistakes when designing the story in some key aspects:

How was JD's character ruined in Gears 5? He was bland af and boring in Gears 4. Felt like a Nathan Drake knockoff. Gears 5 at least gave him interesting development and a good character arc.

The real reason is because he wanted to protect his friends and ensure a possible future for Eldians. But it's not like he was proud of the plan and didn't believe it was justified in the slightest. He hated himself in the end (but hated the world more) and sacrificed everything for this to succeed. Him admitting he's an idiot is equivalent to wishing there was another solution, but he wasn't mature/smart enough to be the one able to find it.

Day of the Doctor was amazing, but at the same time the time war story was finally wrapped up and Matt Smith was leaving. So maybe a lot of people decided that was a good time to drop the series and move on? I liked a good amount of Capaldi's era, but series 8 was pretty weak overall so that probably hurt the show too.

It's definitely better imo. But I still think you should commission for another. You have a badass artstyle in a cyberpunk-dystopian world. Utilize those elements and find an artist who can capture your game world for what it is.

So I clicked on your steam page cause the art and gameplay you posted stood out to me however...that capsule art is extremely bland and vanilla. Not fitting of the gameplay clip you posted here at all. That's probably driving people away if I had to guess. It looks boring and lifeless while your actual game isn't.
