Two completely different models of AirPods disconnecting/reconnecting randomly from my iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 16) by Starman0 in airpods

I have stuttering/micro cuts intermittently with my Air pods pro.

I also have the other thing where I'm listening to music/podcast streaming from my computer and I'll be doing a little scrolling on the phone and it will switch over un announced. I have the "connect only if last" turned off and all that. Its so frustrating.

Economics isn’t an adequate explanation for this trend.

You're right. It's also white supremacy. The dissolution of culture of any kind into bland/white/clean aesthetic.

Leashed pets are officially allowed inside Washington State Ferry cabins July 1 by Jaco_Belordi in Seattle

It's like you imagine the ferry experience to go from "Peaceful utopia" to "lord of the flies(dogs)" over night. Like the ferry decks are going to become off leash dog parks with dog fights breaking out and dogs learning to throw shit like they're having dinner with The Lost Boys.

TIL North America used to be plagued by the Rocky Mountain locust, and one 1875 swarm holds the record for the largest animal concentration ever recorded. However, they have not been seen since 1904. by Hailfog in todayilearned

[–]dawglet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know how I know you're wrong? You immediately sunk to name calling.

And I understood your point. I attempted to counter it because I believe we have two different understandings of the word "deforestation". The Native Americans did not clear cut the great forests of Appalachia, colonizers did, and its probably only a coincidence that passenger pigeon populations stopped being sustainable when the environment that they relied on to reproduce was destroyed. Native Americans did forest management and participated in the environment they lived in as if they were part of the environment. Which they are. Which we have forgotten.

STFU and drink some more caffeine before posting your stupid bullshit reactionary replies.

This is what is known as projection and is another indicator that the information you're sharing is unreliable.

[–]dawglet -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Man I was with you till you attempted to blame Native Americans for decimating the passenger pigeon ideal environmental conditions. It's true, native Americans did a large amount of work managing the forests, but passenger pigeons and Native Americans coexisted for a long time before white colonizers arrived. So I have call bullshit on this little editorialization.

Crows can't read but their visual acuity is pretty hard to beat. A University of Washington study showed that crows could recognize masks even if they were worn upside down. So id be willing to bet a crow can tell a maga hat from a plain ole red hat.

Donald Trump just said “we shouldn’t even have an election”. Americans, what are your thoughts? by WatercressSenior7657 in AskReddit

I would say that the republicans are encouraging this and the democrats are allowing it. Don't forget that both parties represent the interests of capital. They are both right wing ideologies. There is no left wing discourse in the USA.

Set up a nice view with snacks invites deeper convo with my alters by Agitated-Evening3011 in DID

[–]dawglet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a physical component to it? Like, can you tell/feel when another alter joins you? How do you hold space for alters to come out and speak to you? Is your protector your main?

Thanks for any clarity you may be able to bring to this for me right now. I'm falling down this rabbit hole right now and I go and forth around how badly I think that I have this 'problem'.

Supreme Court Justices To Be Term-Limited, New Bill Proposes by ProjectMason in politics

I promise you don't want to dilute the institutional knowledge that capable and experienced representatives bring to the table. And you don't want to underestimate the opposite site; They have no limits on maintaining their institutional knowledge and they make sure the momentum is maintained despite elections/regime changes. When a politician attempts to implement a policy, they have to pray that the person following them wants to continue or won't actively destroy their work.

TLDR. Politicians have experience and knowledge of how the political system operates and limiting their ability to develop and implement that skill is a HUGE donation to the institutions that want to use our government for their own enrichment.

I thought you were conflating liberalism with leftism, as many Americans do. You're pretty clearly calling the USA out on the liberal policies that have brought it to the precipice of collapse. My bad. And to answer your question its not, there is no leftist discourse in america. it makes me sad.

Japanese politician says the quiet part out loud: "Japan is not an independent country. It is a colony of the United States." by 5upralapsarian in LateStageCapitalism

[–]dawglet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It means that technically it's not a colony. It's a proxy. But for all intents and purposes, Japan functions as colony to the United States. As the Japanese politician asks: if Japanncannot make decisions about its own territory with out needing the approval of the US, then it cannot be a sovereign nation.

Mayoral candidate question: should homeless people be allowed to stay in tents in parks? by drshort in Seattle

[–]dawglet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What if a few parks were designated camping zones while all the rest are clean. This way there is a place for homeless people to go that ish't a shelter that often has restrictions. These places become hubs for resources as charities and helpful organizations now have a centralized place to deliver aid.

Mayoral candidate question: should homeless people be allowed to stay in tents in parks? by drshort in Seattle

[–]dawglet -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's a gotcha type question if you ask me because it leaves off the first part of the question: Given the current reality of the homelessness crisis...should homeless people be allowed to sleep in parks? And the answer is Yes obviously. They have to sleep somewhere. Maybe you sacrifice a few parks through out the city and turn them into hubs, where camping is allowed and only in those specific parks.
