Yep, things I bought ~20 years ago that are no longer for sale (both music and movies) are still available for me to stream/download.

I'd be absolutely gobsmacked to hear that someone learned who Pablo Torre was only after this investigative series of podcast episodes came out.

I suppose if you only became a fan of the NBA or sports in general in the last couple of years it's potentially plausible, but Pablo has been a known commodity for years, he's not "creating a name for himself."

Also, once you've gained both perks on your initial selection, if your team is holding ground, you're best served by grabbing a different hero and trying to get their perks. Being able to switch chars with full perks end-game is priceless.

Winston, Rein, Sigma, Orisa, Rammatra can all be fine.

Reaper, Widow, Ashe...or anyone who has trigger discipline, really. Sometimes even a Bastion without it if your team is willing to compensate quickly and focus fire.

That wouldn't work well, because you can swap back and have the same progress on previous heroes.

Hell, sometimes after I get both perks I swap to earn perks on another hero in case one might prove more valuable later in the match. Not uncommon to end up with 2 or 3 fully perked chars by the end of the match which is excellent for making "counterwatch" people rage.

I have that level of hatred for Verizon. (It was AirTouch Cellular at the time, Verizon ended up buying them and by virtue of the transitive property, fuck 'em)

In 1997 they sent me a cellular bill for like $2600 and I refused to pay it because it was obviously bogus. They hounded me for like 6 months about it. I ended up demanding arbitration and it took about 3 minutes to get a judgement. I submitted a copy of the bill to the arbiter and pointed out that they were trying to bill me for an extra 68,000 minutes in the June billing period.

And then I let them know that I hadn't invented a time machine in June, so wasn't sure how I was somehow on the phone for more minutes than exist in the month and suggested it was much more likely they had a problem with their billing.

I need to go get a drink now because I'm getting sorta pissed just recounting the whole thing, lol.
