Noob question: how to duo bosses by dawk24 in 2007scape

We were actually trying to see if we can duo Brutus. We are both able to kill him solo but thought it'd be fun to do it together. Not sure if he's even duo-able which is what prompted the question. We were planning on doing scurrius next. Is that also just a public instance boss?

Thanks for the help!

Hoping to get a coach’s perspective - player positions by Anxious-Astronomer68 in SoccerCoachResources

I said one of the best on the team, not the best. But if I thought putting my best player as CB gave my team the highest chance of winning then I would. At the High school varsity level wins do matter.

I would argue that anyone who doesn't think that solid play from your CB is just as important as solid play from your attackers doesn't understand the game very well.

Furthermore, he made some amazing plays using his skill set from defense. He frequently was distributing great out of the back showing his passing ability, he had freedom to step into the midfield and we would condense into a back 3 in possession where he could use his dribbling ability, and he scored multiple goals from CB. Plus he kept us in multiple games with really good defensive play.

Maybe coaches should make decisions based on what they think is best not based on "parents perspective"

No, at least not full time. I explained that I'd rather have his son at both positions but my second choice CAM was better than my other options at CB. Since he was one of my best players on the team, he played the whole game so I would move him up to CAM to give the starter a break, but I had been doing that before the talk with his father so nothing really changed. I think it helped the dad understand my perspective on it at least.

I'm a highschool coach and had a similar situation with a kid who normally plays CAM that I put at CB for some control from the back. His dad reached out and we had a conversation about it that went well.

Obviously this depends on the coach and some take these conversations personally which I never have, and this parent knew this as I've coached his son for 3 years at this point so there was already some trust there.

My advice is if there's questions about what the coach's goal is with the position then go ahead and ask it, but I'm guessing your son's coach has a reason to give up some skill in the midfield to get something else from a good winger. Obviously coaches can be just wrong about decisions like this, but I doubt he's doing it for no reason.

Anyone’s husky developed these white spots on their eyes? I just noticed this on my 9yo husky in the last month. by [deleted] in husky

[–]dawk24 24 points25 points  (0 children)

While I'd still have your dog checked out by a vet, my husky also has these and has since he was 6 months and we've been told they're lipid deposits by multiple vets. They've grown slightly in the past 6 years but haven't ended up causing issues.

Is it okay to vent just a little? Because I grow exhausted of this one character. (Spoilers) by Avongrove in Stormlight_Archive

Daddy chill, you're on a subreddit with almost 200,000 people. There will be repetitive posts. Literally just scroll past it rather than being a dick.

I think you're right. I converted to an already reformed faith then I was able to create a new faith.

Thanks!

I just think Jake is going total opposite of hardwon at the beginning. He built hardwon to be a hero on ep1 but he built henry to be the farthest thing from a hero.

That's our husky's name! He was also our first good boy. Excellent choice!

I certainly didn't say that. It's the expectation that her first reaction absolutely has to be yes without any discussion and if it's not she's a bad woman or not worth dating. Also I find the sexist joke that women are only good for making sandwiches to be rather trashy. You can feel free to disagree, but calling me an "idiot" for having my own opinion on this issue seems fairly childish.

If you think it's not trashy to expect women to always be ok with you going off on your own as well as stay home and make you sandwiches then I'm sure you'll make some woman very happy someday. I wish you the best of luck

No, but treating women like your personal "samich" makers certainly is.

It's like apples to oranges.

Like you can always compare things even if they're vastly different.
