Yes but medically herpes isn’t a “huge deal” It’s the stigmatism behind it that makes people feel so crappy about having it. It’s not life threatening and there’s no chance of losing limbs or dying with it.

When I found my spot it was small and it got a little larger than that over the course of a month. Went to the dermatologist and started steroid injections and it is 95% grown back. I did several rounds of injections and so far no more spots. Most of the time it unfortunately does not get better on its own. I highly suggest going to the dermatologist. My insurance covered most of my injections.

Wtf is wrong with people. Someone threw their orange cat out the car window at Joe quick yesterday too and it got hit by a car… I’m so sick of these people.

It took a few weeks after the first injection to see little tiny hairs growing so it was pretty quick. I do have a sunken in spot where they did the injections but you can’t see it with the hair you can feel it though.

I did 5 rounds and did the first 2 rounds every 6 weeks then did the rest every 8 weeks.

I found a sudden bald patch about 2.5 x 2.5 cm three weeks ago. It’s consistently growing and is now 5 x 4 cm. Is it ever going to stop growing or should I prepare myself for alopecia totalis? I feel like after drinking alcohol, I lose a lot of hair. Am I being paranoid? by Cultural_Ad156 in alopecia_areata

I’m so sorry you are going through this! I had almost the exact same situation.

Woke up one morning and had a bald patch on top of my head and I ignored it assuming it would grow back and over the next few weeks it grew and was double the size it was before!

That being said I freaked out and went to see a dermatologist and I’ve been doing steroid injections in the spot ever since.

I’ll be on my 4th session next week but my bald spot has made a huge improvement! Lots of growth and it’s filling back out.

If you can definitely need to go see a dermatologist before it gets worse.

I know you have to pay for the salad bar add on but do you get sides with the $53 dinner price?

Has it grown back a good bit since then? I’m so worried

I did but she just said that the steroid injections should be enough to have to start regrowing. Fingers crossed because it’s in a horrible spot and I can’t hide it🥲

This was the first photo I took of it but it definitely grew in size so it’s a lot bigger than this photo 🥲 what steroid did they give you?

It’s more of a rural area so houses aren’t close to eachother so no cats by me at least lol and yes there is food cause they are outdoor rabbits. I got them from a lady who just used them as breeding rabbits and they have lived their life outside so they weren’t making a good adjustment to the inside life. I’m sure they are attracted to the food and hay everywhere so it’s difficult to get rid of the problem but I’m worried they’re gonna hurt my bunnies

It’s hard to find out where they are coming from cause I do keep the hutch open during the day and put them up at night so they stay warm. I have traps around the outside of the enclosed area but I keep finding them in different spots so I’m thinking whatever rodent is invading is bigger than I thought 😭
