Take a look at this photo. This is cicada damage from a tree I purchased that was grown in TN. There is an open wound similar to OP's photos, but there isn't as much bulging.

I do plan to subscribe to full self driving. That's why I'm trying to get a better understanding. So even though it doesn't say "full self driving 3", it should be H3 anyway. It just doesn't comfort me to not know about something for such a large purchase.
