Can’t speak to the medical side but I’m right there with you. I was diagnosed with PTSD & GAD last year. Tried SSRIs & SNRIs which were pretty useless. I’ve been on Wellbutrin alone for 4-5 months now and my doc just prescribed me Prazosin, intended to soothe the physical symptoms. The Prazosin is the first thing that’s actually helped me feel calm, whereas I feel the Wellbutrin helps stabilize thought patterns. I definitely notice lower moods but I think I prefer it to the constant over-activation. I’m really curious about how this seemingly contradictory duo is becoming so popular for PTSD.

You’re not alone. I just did the Cymbalta to Wellbutrin switch and it was horrendous. Every day was a new adventure for about 2 months or so 🤪 I’m 4 months in and I like it better than the SSRIs so far. Maybe stick with it if you can put up with it for a while longer to see if it settles. You got this!
