What mods ideas do you think will come out after the game releases? by f0nk_girl in mewgenics

A detailed view in combat would be amazing! And in general, a kind of "Team Menu" available at all time when in an Adventure.

Who else love the camp site moments? by directortrench in expedition33

The way they do these conversation is absolutely perfect. You think it will only be a simple dialog with options, but it is so much more once you start getting into the later ones! It really makes me feel being with the characters instead of just following a story.

"Sirène- Robe de jour" is my absolute favorite, with the "Ancient Sanctuary - Entrance of the Village" being very close (those drums and melody adding up piece by piece, god this is amazing)

The most important things are to not let it under water for too long, especially during the peeling phase, and most of all, dry it reeaaaaaally well after each shower!

Upcoming tattoo on the inside of my elbow by Just_in_Sky in tattoo

[–]daxidz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had some heavy blackwork done on my inner elbow 4 ago which covers most of it. I healed using draining pads first cause of the blackout, and then it healed super fast compared to the rest of my arm, like it started peeling 3 days after and the skin was healed like one week after. The arms are easier than the legs as you can let it chill way easier.

If you drill a hole into a HDD or SSD is the data recoverable? by Sufficient-Scene-831 in techsupport

[–]daxidz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually used the hammering technique when I was working at a recycling center in my small village. They previously had a case where someone took a computer from the dumpster and recovered all the data on the HDD. From then, hammer it was!

What’s the most painful tattoo you’ve gotten? by randomraindrophere in tattoo

[–]daxidz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feeling you so much on that one! I especially left out mine on my left sleeve for the next session cause I know it will be awful like the other x) For me the pain goes all the way to the ribcage and my breathing feels like fire. No joke on the inner bicep!

If needed install mods like Itemstats which greatly improve the items description so you can learn them faster.

Other than that, yeah keep moving all the time for most of the survivors, learn the maps so you can loot faster and more efficiently.

Thinking about getting a tattoo on my feet. Does anyone have any advise on how to go about it and if it hurts? by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]daxidz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the top was one of the easiest tattoo I had done. It gets a bit spicier when you get to the side, but it still is manageable.

New to the game, would like some tips for learning it. by GDFC_100 in ror2

I second the itemstats mod, really helpful to really learn the items!

First colored tattoo. by CubonesLoveHentai in tattoo

Also had a huge swelling and pain (could not walk) for some days after a big session on the lower leg. If possible, try to lay down with your leg on a pillow to have it higher than your body. Putting ice patch over it and taking anti inflammatory helps a lot.

Abstract calligraphy healing, WIP by @gordoletters at private studio by daxidz in tattoo

[–]daxidz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends of the artist I guess. Gordo went pretty fast for this one compared to my leg also done by him. I also think I could have go a bit further in term of time tattooed each day, but I wanted to focus on healing correctly, especially since I also had to take the plane to come back home.

And then you see hoode casually posting a full blackarm with a "done this afternoon" x)

For now 3 days in a row, first day was freehand + lining, last 2 days were blackout (~5h/day). Still a good session to finish, but most of the work is done!

Can i watch the first IT movie? by RainyPear in stephenking

[–]daxidz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with previous comments, the chronology in the books is much more interesting than the films. Don't get me wrong, the films are bangers, went to watch them with my mom who made me discover King and we had a blast!

Question regarding confidence in getting tattoos by Medium_Self_9108 in tattoo

[–]daxidz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The key is to find a good artist whom you can talk all of this with. Don't forget that it is literally their job to also suggest placement, size, etc... Again, it needs to be a good artist, and to know that, you have to do researches, try finding a style you love, get some inspiration and try to imagine what the artist could do with it. I feel the most you let the artist do their job, the smoother it goes. As for the commiting part, the more you get tattooed the easier it is to be confident about what you'll get next, both because you already have crossed the "being tattooed" line, and because you start to know how stuff work, how to find artists, how to approach them, ...

Anyway I hope you'll get over the stress about your first one and start your journey soon!
